Jackie Rafferty holds a University of Southampton Principal Research Fellowhship. She is Director the Centre for Human Service Technology (CHST) and SWAP, the Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for Social Policy and Social Work. With a background in community development she has published extensively over the last 15 years in the areas of information and communication technologies and learning, teaching and practice in the human services. |

Jan Steyaert is a faculty member at the Fontys University of Professional Education in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) and the Adjunct Professor seconded to the Centre for Human Service Technology at the University of Southampton, England. He has published widely on the application of technology in human services as well as on the dynamics between technology and social quality of society. |
